Abstract

In this article the main derivational models of the non-affixal compound nouns with the second component -voz are elicited and described, they represent typified formulae of the relation expression between elements of the sentences lying at their basis. These models are designed for computer modelling synthesis and analysis of Russian compound words. Compounds are word-formative syntactic derivatives – univerbs composed of the unity of a radix and an inflectional paradigm. The radix is a basis including two or more motivating basis and preserving semantics and syntactical relations of the main word of a producing word combination. The radix denotes (in principle) any sequence of morphemes in the position of a root (unlike the root which isn’t a sequence of morphemes), always exposed to – inflectivization (connection with a morphological paradigm) and (potentially) – affixation. The compounds have been generated by the compression not only the word combination, as it is usually considered, but of a simple sentence. Non-affixal compound nouns with the second component -voz are univerbs received by the action of the operators: 1) of the word order: Who(S)-vozit-what(O)-with-what (I) → Who(S)-with-what(I)-what(O)-vozit; 2) of compression (formal and informative): Who(S)-with-what(I)-what(O)-vozit → with-what(I)-what(O)-vozit → what(O)-vozit; 3) of transsubjectivity (redistribution of syntactic roles): Who(S)-with-the-force of-what(I)-who/what(O)-vozit→ the-force of-what(I>S)-who/what(O)-vozit; 4) of substantiation (lexical operator) which turns the construction with the verb vozit’ into an archaic compound “verbal name” on -voz and in such a way predetermines the part of speech and the morphology of a composite (‘vozit’>-voz’): What(I>S)- what(O)-vozit → What(S)-what(O)-voz.Typical and less informative actants are exposed to compression: subject (always), subjective instrument (often) and object (seldom – if it can be any). As the first member of the construction the object (often / 83%) or the subjective source of energy (seldom / 17%) can be preserved.
