Abstract

Importance: at the moment, the global processes of digitalization of transport affect the sphere of the transport and logistics system of Russia. Readiness for the transformation of its individual elements is at different levels, due to a number of existing problems. Purpose: аrticle is devoted to analyze the prospects for the development of the digital transport and logistics system of Russia, to identify the current problems accompanying the digital transformation of the transport and logistics system of Russia at three levels, to identify the causes of their occurrence and to offer possible solutions to the analyzed problems. Research design: the article discusses various problems inherent in the elements of the transport and logistics system of Russia, which are under the influence of the digitalization process. This process affects the transport and logistics system unevenly, since the system is based on a three-level organization of the country’s transport logistics: international, interregional and urban. Each of the elements of such a system has its own parameters that affect the process digitalization taking place in the entire system as a whole. Some of these parameters can have a positive effect, while others can have a negative effect. Results: the article analyzes the features of the three-level organization of the transport and logistics system of Russia, as well as characterizes the impact of the digitalization process on each of the levels. The parameters of the system elements that hinder the introduction of digital technologies in transport are revealed. The article provides a review of the literature on the digitalization of the transport and logistics system of Russia, an analysis of the problems inherent in the digital transformation of transport logistics. The causes of their occurrence are determined, and methods for their solution are proposed.
