Abstract

Purpose: the Work is devoted to a systematic study of the functioning of virtual organizations in the context of global crisis changes. Discussion: the Essence and typology of virtual organizations. Results: the article substantiates the authors ' point of view on the essence and features of the functioning of virtual organizations, which reflect the demand for this form of business organization in the context of global changes in the world economy, including under the influence of the COVID pandemic. The article presents the types of virtual organizations and their characteristics. Their analysis showed that virtual organizations have a number of advantages that strengthen their positions even in times of crisis.
