Abstract

Importance: feed base for dairy production. Purpose: economic analysis and substantiation of the importance of the feed base in dairy production as one of the determining factors of efficiency for agricultural organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Research design: the expediency of paying attention to the feed base is proved, since this directly affects the increase in cow productivity, milk quality and the economic efficiency of the organization. An economic analysis of milk production has been carried out. As a result, the need for the formation and maintenance of its own food supply was revealed. The evaluation of milk production indicators allowed us to establish that one of the key factors is the feed base. Results: the analysis was carried out and the implementation of the formation of its own feed base for milk production was justified. The high economic efficiency of production and implementation of approaches to the formation of a feed base is associated with a comprehensive economic effect, increasing animal productivity and product quality. The possibility of scaling the experience of the considered industrial activity in the conditions of the Nizhny Novgorod region is proved.
