Key characteristics of the practice of implementing the new industrial policy in the russian regions

Abstract

Importance: the subject of this study is the investment activity of the Voronezh region in comparison with the investment activity of Russia. Objective: to assess the key characteristics of the investment activity of the Voronezh region and develop measures to further enhance it. Purpose: assessment of the key characteristics of the investment activity of the Voronezh region and the development of measures to further enhance it. Research design: the investment analysis of direct (investments in fixed assets, including per capita) and indirect (gross product, including per capita, average per capita income of the population, the cost of fixed assets, the number of enterprises and organizations) indicators of investment activity of the country and the region, conducted on a sample of their main characteristics, revealed the level of investment activity in the region and develop measures for its growth in the future in new geopolitical conditions. Results: the composition of the strengths and weaknesses of the investment activity of the Voronezh Region, established in the course of the study, can form an information base for justifying practical measures to increase it.
