Development of a mechanism for sustainable development of the economy of industrial industries based on the cluster approach

Abstract

Importance: the problems of sustainable economic development lie in the fact that in conditions of rapid economic growth and limited natural resources, it is difficult to satisfy the ever-increasing needs of humanity and this leads to limited possibilities for further development. The article is devoted to the development of a mechanism to achieve sustainable economic development of industrial sectors and enterprises through the implementation of a cluster approach, taking into account the need for digital transformation of industrial sectors in order to achieve sustainable competitiveness of domestic industry. Purpose: the main goal of scientific research is to develop methodological techniques for clustering industrial sectors in the context of digital transformation through platformization of the industry space. Research design: аssuming that the imperative for sustainable economic development of industrial enterprises and industries is the clustering of industry space and the involvement of industry participants in integrated cluster-type structures, organizing their interaction on the basis of a digital platform that allows expanding the circle of potential participants and effectively using their internal resources. Results: based on indicative planning, methods, techniques and tools are proposed, through the implementation of which it is possible to achieve the effect of sustainable development of the economy of cluster formations of industrial sectors. The feasibility of creating a unified digital platform is substantiated in order to optimize the interaction between participants in cluster formation and satisfy their interests and needs, contributing to the sustainable development of the economy of industrial sectors. The practical significance of the results obtained in the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed mechanism by industrial sectors whose activities are based on the cluster approach in the current conditions of digitalization of the economy in order to increase competitiveness.
