Importance: analysis of the development of innovative technologies in the retail sector of the Russian Federation. The article examines the essence and problems of innovation, which allows us to assess the current state of retail trade in Russia and identify key areas for development. Purpose: objective: to determine the role and importance of innovative technologies in expanding the range of retail services in the Russian Federation. Research design: the research is based on a comprehensive and systematic approach, including methods of analysis, synthesis, and logical reasoning. The theoretical part uses the work of leading Russian and foreign experts in the field of innovative technologies and their impact on retail trade. The empirical part includes an analysis of Rosstat statistics and examples of innovation implementation in large Russian retail chains. Results: the introduction of innovative technologies in retail significantly increases the efficiency of business processes, improves the quality of customer service and creates sustainable competitive advantages. Because today, advanced technological solutions not only optimize internal operations such as inventory management, logistics and accounting, but also provide a more personalized approach to each client. Therefore, the main directions of future development include digitalization, automation and the creation of ecosystems that will determine the competitiveness of retail enterprises in the coming years.
