Abstract

Importance: Adaptation of the techniques of the “classical” mediation procedure to the management of conflict business processes allows us to talk about a new approach that significantly expands traditional ideas about mediation. Purpose: to determine the components of an expanded approach to the use of mediation techniques for managing business processes, to describe the content of the components, to formulate the relevance and conceptual apparatus. Research design: the use of a three-component approach to the mediation procedure allows the use of mediation techniques not only in disputes outside the organization, but also in its current activities. Determining the structure and components of this approach will lead to a completely new format for doing business, allowing work to be structured in a conflict-free environment, which in turn will affect the emotional state of the team and financial performance. Results: the use of mediation as an economic tool allows the company to achieve more effective results, contributing to an increase in the level of corporate culture, preservation of capital and a positive trend in business development as a whole. The authors highlight a new approach to the mediation procedure, propose its three-component composition, define the role of a customized approach, describe industry aspects, including an unconventional paragnomenistic view, and propose a new position in the company - a consensusologist with mediator skills and expanded functional responsibilities.
