Abstract

Importance: modern challenges and rapid changes in the world require careful analysis and effective planning in the field of production of vegetable oils and fats. The subject of the study is the economic relations that arise in the process of development of the oil and fat subcomplex. Purpose: the aim of the study is to substantiate theoretical and methodological provisions for making forecasts for the development of the oil and fat subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex. Research design: in preparing the research materials for the article, a review of the works of domestic and foreign authors on the topic of the research was conducted, an analysis of modern approaches in the field of forecasting was performed, and the features of forecasting the development of the oil and fat subcomplex were identified. Methods of analyzing the current situation and summarizing information were used. Results: the main results of the study consist in identifying the key features and methods of analysis and forecasting the development of the fat and oil subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex, which play a decisive role in the accuracy and reliability of the forecasts constructed. A systematization of modern features and methods for forecasting the development of the oil and fat subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex has been carried out, allowing for the analysis of various development scenarios, identifying key factors, generating innovative ideas, and formulating recommendations for strategic planning and management of available resources.
