Technical and technological security of the corporation: threats and assessment indicators

Abstract

Importance: in the modern conditions of the changing economic market situation, the issue of ensuring the economic security of the corporation is increasingly receiving significant attention. Each corporation has an individual set of production technologies. The quality of the material and intellectual technologies used in the work significantly affects the efficiency of the corporation, and, consequently, the level of technical and technological safety. Purpose: a comprehensive study of the essence of technical and technological safety as one of the key components of ensuring the economic security of an organization, a study of the aspects of organizing the production processes of a corporation. Research design: Definition and study of the role of technical and technological safety in the system of ensuring the economic security of a corporation. The factors that negatively affect the efficiency of the process of ensuring the technical and technological safety of a corporation are systematized. The main indicators of the level of technical and technological safety of a corporation were identified. Results: technical and technological safety ensures the protection of technological processes, material assets, personnel and information, and also minimizes risks and ensures the sustainable functioning of the corporation. Important aspects of ensuring this safety are risk assessment and analysis, monitoring and control, which allow achieving the maximum level of economic security as a whole.
