Importance: the system of economic relations of vegetable growing enterprises that determine the competitiveness and financial results of their activities. Competitive advantages in a market economy are concentrated in absolute and relative indicators of enterprise income, forming the potential of resources and control levers, and payback is most appropriately used for the purposes of assessing competitiveness. Purpose: study of factors influencing the competitiveness and profitability of protected ground vegetables in the conditions of greenhouse enterprises of the Voronezh region. Research design: рrotected soil vegetable growing is a critically important sector of the regional food market, providing the population with a year-round need for fresh vegetables. The article analyzes the factors of competitiveness of protected ground vegetables in the Voronezh region, calculates the dynamics of payback of greenhouse vegetables, as well as the relationship of economic indicators affecting the competitiveness of manufactured products. Results: based on the data from annual reports of greenhouse industry enterprises, a correlation matrix was constructed, monitoring of the relationship between competitiveness indicators and multiple regression analysis of product payback were graphically presented. The conducted analysis allowed us to form a scale of product competitiveness based on the influence of individual factors and to implement a mixed method of assessing competitiveness. Thus, the main factors influencing the payback and competitiveness of protected ground vegetables in the Voronezh region are yield, availability of fertilizers and fixed assets, energy costs, and the personnel component.
