Abstract

Importance: еconomic analysis of the market environment of an economic entity plays an important role in assessing the organizational level of management of its activities, which allows analyzing the adequacy of the provisions of the development strategy of an economic entity. Optimization of the organizational structure of management of an economic entity contributes to strengthening its competitiveness and rationality of making management decisions in the field of regulating the internal environment of the entity’s functioning. In the conditions of openness and transparency of doing business, the role of information support for market analysis increases, which helps ensure the effectiveness of making management decisions from the standpoint of the potential for coordinating management actions and assessing their impact on the execution process. Purpose: to substantiate the content of the organizational stages of the economic analysis of the market environment of a business entity, including defining the purpose and objectives of the analysis; identifying subjects, initiators and consumers of the analysis results based on the distribution of functional responsibilities between them; forming elements of information support for analytical work, highlighting the calculation and analytical aspects of the analysis; forming conclusions and formalizing the analysis results. Research design: the analysis of the functioning of a business entity is aimed at identifying areas of activity that determine the effectiveness of doing business, identify the main priorities of strategic development and competitive advantages. For the effective organization of the analysis of the market environment, the initiator and the coordinator should regularly exchange information on the current state of the project, possible changes in requirements and deadlines. Results: the proposed organizational and methodological recommendations for conducting an analysis of the market environment of a business entity for the development of optimization measures and monitoring the implementation of proposals to improve the efficiency of the economic entity.
