The security service of an economic entity: the main goals, objectives and functions of the structural subdivision of the organization

Abstract

Importance: the subject of this research is the goals, objectives and functions of the security service of an economic entity as a special structural unit of the organization within the framework of the system for ensuring its comprehensive economic security. Purpose: to review and systematize the main goals, objectives and functions of the security service of an economic entity. Research design: the object of research is a special structural unit of an economic entity, the security service, as an element of the management system and control over the financial and economic activities of organizations. The information base of the research is the regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation in the field of ensuring the economic (and other) security of organizations, local acts of economic entities, scientific and methodological literature, monographic research materials, as well as articles in periodicals of domestic authors, etc. The work uses general scientific methods of cognition: analysis, synthesis, comparison, analogy, methods of abstraction and generalization, etc. Results: the results of the research are the development of a comprehensive definition of the organization’s security service, the definition of the fundamental goals of this structural unit, its main tasks and functions.
