Importance: the problem of the transition of government agencies to a digital platform and the use of electronic document management. Purpose: to simplify the transition of government agencies to electronic document management and the use of a financial accounting management system for government agencies. Research design: general scientific methods were used – deductive, inductive, systematic, as well as questionnaires and methods of analysis and synthesis, etc. The primary information is obtained from official statistical sources. To substantiate the reliability of the results obtained, data from government agencies in the Moscow region were analyzed. The factors influencing the transition of government agencies to internal electronic document management in the context of digitalization have been identified. Results: this algorithm will help simplify the transition of government agencies to electronic document management and the use of a financial accounting management system for government agencies in the Moscow region, prepare the material part of institutions, and prepare the correct local regulations. Its effectiveness is based on minimizing the costs of the institution, distributing responsibilities among employees of institutions and government structures of the Moscow region.
