Abstract

Importance: currently, social partnership is the main vector for the development of labour relations in Russia. It is based on the need to achieve a balance of interests, primarily in terms of remuneration for labour, between employers and employees, including young workers. The subject of the study is the motivation of young workers. Purpose: to develop a mechanism for improving labour promotion within the framework of social partnership based on a differentiated approach that takes into account the needs of different categories of workers by age and generation. Research design: the characteristics of young workers have been identified, including general (age‑related) and specific (generational) ones. The role of social partnership in the development of labour relations has been substantiated, and the need to achieve a balance of interests among the parties to these relations has been emphasised. As a result, a mechanism for developing a labour promotion system at the organisational level under conditions of developing social partnership has been substantiated. Results: a model for developing a labour promotion system based on a differentiated approach has been proposed. The elements of the model (“input”, “operation”, “output”) have been substantiated, taking into account the structure of the workforce by age and generation, with a separate identification of the group of young workers. The role of the proposed model in improving the labour promotion system for young workers has been substantiated.
