Region economy clustering: innovative component of the country

Abstract

consideration of the cluster formation mechanism in the Voronezh
region based on the military-industrial complex (MIC). Discussion: creation
of high-tech clusters based on the MIC integrated structures is a path
for the region development and investment attraction. In particular,
scientific, technical and production potential of the MIC is capable to
create a minimal cost effective high-tech cluster producing high-tech and
a competitive product. Results: based on analysis of the industrial complex
of the Voronezh region we present some types of clusters acceptable to
the MIC. We show some reasons for the lack of a full-fledged cluster of
manufacturers of oil and gas extraction and chemical equipment in the
Voronezh region. The core of our proposed pumping cluster should be a
concern based on three enterprises of the Voronezh space-rocket industry.
We present the schematic diagram of such cluster and show its advantages.
