Abstract

Purpose: define the content and the main directions of development of competition in the implementation of standards, increasing the use of competitive analysis, road mapping, cluster approach. Discussion: we characterized the results of the implementation of the standard of competition through the disclosure of the outcome of the structural units of state and municipal management, ordering elements of a normative legal regulation of the process of development of competition in the region, the disclosure of the analytical capabilities of the «road map» to facilitate the development of competition. Results: we covered the economic content, functions and organizational and methodological provisions for the development of competition in the region, increasing the use of competitive analysis, road mapping, cluster approach on the basis of the systematization of the existing approaches to defining the essence of the process of regional competition development.
