Purpose: analysis of functions of intellectual and human capital, their interrelations and interdependence and the impact of increasing social and cultural capital. Discussion: consideration of immaterial forms of capital without taking into account their relationship that gives a distorted view of their effective use in organizations. Results: interaction of intellectual and human capital, complemented by impact of social and cultural capital creates synergistic effects, which provide effective innovative development of firms and the economy as a whole.
