The current state of the intraregional social and economic development of the Federal Republic of Germany

Abstract

Purpose: The article is devoted to the issues of differentiation of the intraregional development of the Federal Republic of Germany. Discussion: At the present stage Germany has a high level of socio-economic development and occupies an important place in the world economy. The article analyzes the level of social and economic development of Germany as a whole, as well as of individual federal lands in particular on key indicators. Results: the conducted research proves the existence of differences in the level of social and economic development of the regions, which demonstrates the need to improve intraregional policy and develop innovative programs for the development of federal lands.
