Technique and application of the foreign economic activity efficiency estimation on the example of Voronezh region

Abstract

Purpose: the authors evaluate the effectiveness of foreign economic activity in the Voronezh region. Discussion: the authors carried out a comparative analysis of existing approaches to assessing the effectiveness of foreign economic activity with the use of two main groups of economic efficiency indicators to achieve this goal. Results: the authors proposed a combined integrated approach to assessing the effectiveness for foreign economic activity at the regional level. Also the authors carried out a comparative analysis of the main indicators for foreign economic activity in the central black earth regions. In addiction the authors identified the main areas of export specialization for the Voronezh region on the base of the statistical data analysis.
