Problems of social inequality formation in the regions of Russia

Abstract

Purpose: the authors consider the problems of social inequality in the regions of Russia. Discussion: social inequality lies both in the uneven socio-economic development of various regions in modern Russia, and in the unequal situation of the population. In connection with the change of technological structure and structural and digital transformation of all socio-economic processes, new problems and ways to eliminate social inequality in modern conditions appear. Results: the authors highlighted the causes of inequality: the income level of the population and the economic development of the regions. Also the authors gave the statistical data on the state of the population inequality and defined the ways to eliminate it in modern conditions. In addiction the authors proposed active and passive measures to overcome existing imbalances.
