Abstract

Purpose: the article is devoted to the study of practical and theoretical approaches to the content and results of the implementation of the program of development of agro-industrial enterprises in the territory of the European Union. Discussion: assuming that the EAEU, in formulating a coherent agro-industrial policy, could benefit from the lessons of the EU, which rather successfully organized the common agricultural market instead of a multitude of heterogeneous national ones. Results: the author reviewed the model of development of the agro-industrial complex in the European Union and defined the principles of the functioning of the EAP, the use of which, from the point of view of the author, is partly permissible in developing a coherent agro-industrial policy of the EAEU.
