Economic and statistical support development of the regional industrial politicians

Abstract

Purpose: to propose methods for processing and presenting statistical materials that provide the necessary and sufficient amount of information characterizing the objective state of the industry and promising directions for improving the industrial policy of the regions. Discussion: at present, the development of the industrial policy of the regions is carried out within the framework of strategic planning of the socio-economic development of administrative territorial entities, taking into account the requirements of the regulatory and legal framework of the Russian Federation. The analysis of the strategic planning documents of the regions showed that the goals, objectives, instruments of industrial policy are established, often, on the basis of fragmentary statistical data. This can introduce a significant subjective component into the content of industrial policy. Results: using the example of the Voronezh region using cluster and correlation- regression analysis, combinations of 12 factorial and 9 resulting indicators characterizing the industry of the region as an object of industrial policy have been established.
