Institutional environment of the Russian digital economy: features of formation and development

Abstract

Purpose: the article is devoted to study and clarify the economic essence of the institutional environment of the digital economy, to determine its main functions, to identify factors that influence the formation of the institutional environment of the Russian digital economy, as well as the features of its development. Discussion: the main theoretical propositions concerning the formation and development of the institutional environment of the digital economy in Russia are considered; their influence on the process and dynamics of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation is shown. Results: the authors clarified and concretized the essence of the institutional environment of the digital economy in Russia, showed and characterized its functions, proposed a classification of the main factors affecting the formation of the institutional environment of the Russian digital economy, and determined the features of its development.
