Abstract

Purpose: to systematize and critically assess the state of the current system of banking regulation in the Russian Federation. Discussion: banking activity is dynamically developing. Currently, credit organizations are the main institution of the financial system. Practically none of the segments of the global and national financial markets can do without their participation. In this regard, the authors systematized and analyzed the provisions of the main regulatory documents regulating banking activities in the Russian Federation. Results: the conducted research made it possible to critically evaluate the current regulations on the research topic and formulate recommendations aimed at improving the system of regulatory regulation of banking activities.
