Transaction costs of subjects entrepreneurial activity in the conditions of russian transit to the digital economy

Abstract

Purpose: to clarify the economic essence of transaction costs in the context of the transition to the digital economy, to identify the main functions and their place in the structure of total costs, to consider changes in the types of transaction costs under the influence of digitalization processes in key areas of life and development of the modern Russian Federation. Discussion: the main theoretical provisions on transaction costs, their functions and types in the conditions of transition to the digital economy are considered. Results: the authors clarified the essence of transaction costs, showed changes in the types of transaction costs of business entities under the influence of digitalization processes.
