The problems of harmonization of socio-economic development of the region

Abstract

Purpose: the aim of the article is the study of the socio-economic development of regions as well as the priority directions of state policy. The authors consider main factors of sustainable development of the region and the issue of transition to a new economic system through a thorough reform of state regulation of regional development. The authors analyze the socio-economic development of the regions, as well as the priority areas of state policy on the territory of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Discussion: the authors consider main factors of sustainable development of the region through effective state regulation of regional development. Results: based on the analysis, it was proposed to supplement the program of socio-economic development with additional indicators, based on the region's industry priorities.
