Abstract

Purpose: in this article, the authors consider approaches to the organization of internal audit in state and corporate structures, identify external and internal audits, analyze the specifics of compliance control, and describe the scheme of internal financial audit in the public sector. Discussion: оver the past few years, the organization, features and procedures of the internal audit system in the corporate governance of domestic enterprises and holding structures have become particularly important, and there is an important need to significantly improve the efficiency of budget funds, the quality and reliability of internal financial control and internal financial audit systems. Results: the analysis of the features of audit in commercial and state structures revealed a number of features. In General, for both state and corporate enterprises, audit is a tool for improving the efficiency and manageability of the company.
