Project management in the research activities of the university in Russia

Abstract

Purpose: analyzing the state and assessment of the use of project technologies in the processes of organization and management of the university research activities. Discussion: According to the author, research activities are an essential component of the effective university activities. There are some problems in the organization of research activity in higher education in Russia. We argue the benefits of university research in comparison with industry and academic. The author propose connection method of organization and management of research activities in higher education quality and quantity of its scientific work. Results: the analysis of research activity management in Russian universities confirmed the need of the project management methods.
