Tне problem aspects of information and analytical support of railway transport enterprises

Abstract

Purpose: to identify the problems of information and analytical support of railway enterprises and to determine the ways of their solution.
Discussion: The railway industry is seen as an open system actively interacting with the market. Authors singled out the most significant interrelationships of system’s components, which determine the main direction of its development. Also authors revealed conditions that impede the functioning and development of the railway industry.
Results: The article contains the developed methodological scheme for constructing a multi-purpose information and analytical system for analyzing the development of the industry. The authors have proved the cyclical nature of the process of its construction. In the course of the study, authors identified key areas for the development of the railway industry based on the introduction of modern innovative technologies and new technology.
