Peculiarities of the regional business development in Europe (on the example of Belgium)

Abstract

Purpose: the authors determine the peculiarities of small and medium business development in Belgium. Discussion: the authors consider the organization of small and medium business in Belgium, its opportunities and strengths and state support measures on the federal and regional levels. The authors also analyze the private development programs and the financial support to the enterprises of small and medium business. Results: the authors conducted the research of small and medium business as a dynamic sphere. Business occupies an important place in the economy of the country at present.
