Abstract

Importance: the subject of this study is a set of organizational and economic relations formed by increasing innovative activity of organizations at the present stage of socio-economic development. Purpose: the purpose of the study is to analyze and evaluate the innovative activity of organizations in the modern economy of the Russian Federation. Research design: the analysis and evaluation of innovative activity of organizations is carried out using a systematic approach and methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, statistical and empirical analysis, graphical interpretation of data. Results: the significant lag of the Russian Federation from the advanced countries of the world in terms of the main indicators of innovation activity was established; the imperfection of the regulatory and legal framework of the Russian Federation regulating various aspects of innovation activity has been substantiated; the key role of human capital in the innovative development of the domestic economy has been determined; the positive dynamics of indicators determining innovation activity in Russia, the Central Federal District and the Voronezh Region in the period from 2018 to 2020.; It was found that the Voronezh Region in 2020 is ahead of the average statistical values for the Central Federal District and the Russian Federation; the key role of the state in enhancing innovation activity and in creating incentives for innovative development of the economy has been proven.
