Abstract

Project scope: examination of different reversed-phase HPLC chromatographic purification methods of anticancer synthetic buserelin peptide in traditional isocratic or gradient batch conditionals and in multicolumn continuous chromatography (MCSGP). Process optimization was done in isopropanol-water solutions with citric acid additives.
It has been demonstrated that transition from the batch to continuous process raises the productivity by 1.5-3 times and increases the product yield from 56-61% to 85% with saving the demands for the product purity (more than 97%).
