Abstract

A gas chromatographic method for determination of polychlorinated phenols after derivatization
with monochloroacetic acid anhydride was proposed. The factors that increase the reliability of analytes
identification in real samples were considered: pH values for extraction and re-extraction were selected and
proved, a comparison of the results of mass-spectrometric identification of derivatives with the theoretical
calculation of the intensities ratio of lines in the isotopic cluster of the molecular ion was carried out, internal
standard for gas chromatographic separation monochloroacetates of polychlorophenols was selected.
