Abstract

There is presented the theoretical investigation on the basis of the computerized modeling of the
multicomponent mass transfer ion exchange (IEx) kinetics. The calculations show the propagation and interference of
the diffusion concentration waves of the i-components (1A,2B,3C) inside the matrix of r-bead, ro-fiber,or L-membrane.
It is shown the anomalous FB(T) kinetic curve behavior during time with the non-monotonous time dependence for
the various Di - diffusivity values. The reason for the non-monotonous kinetic behavior is explained theoretically by the
new displacement effect aroused due to the interaction of the two incoming B,C -waves for the B,C-components during
the i- waves propagation in matrixes mentioned.
