Liquid chromatography of water-soluble homopolymers and copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone

In present publication the complexing properties of N-vinylpyrrolidone homopolymers and Nvinyl
or N-allyliminodiacetic acids copolymers are studied. The factors responsible for hydrodynamic
behavior of these polymers (copolymer) in dilute solution - eluent in high performance exclusion liquid
chromatography (HPELC) are considered. The workability of Benoit universal calibration curve for
molecular characteristics of N-vinyl amide copolymers with amine comonomers by HPELC is
demonstrated
