The application of active carbon modified by potassium hydroxide in the purification of waste water of functional entertainment

In the work the efficiencies of the purification of waste water of Moscow coke-gaseous plant by
active carbon modified by potassium hydroxide and by commercial active carbon are compared. Is
showed that a due to more developed structure of sorption pores the reduction of Chemical Oxygen
Demand (COD) in 3 times is in 1,5 times faster in case of using the carbon modified.
