“Acid retardation” sorption method. selected echnological prospects in the separation of electrolytes

Abstract

The Acid Retardation method and its modern variants are briefly described. The results of
experimental tests on reagent-less separation of acid and salts of various types are given. Technological
prospects of the method are demonstrated by the actual examples of separation of REE from industrial
phosphorous acid, treatment of nitric acid solution of alumina leaching from nepheline, and the
purification of copper electrolyte.
