Abstract

This paper describes basic principles of a new method of frontal preparative size exclusion
chromatography of mineral electrolytes on an industrial neutral nanoporous hypercrosslinked polystyrene
sorbent NanoNet-381. Rational explanation of acid retardation mechanism is provided here, which is
common for both neutral sorbets and ion exchange resins, and new analogous processes of salt retardation
and base retardation are exemplified.
