Abstract

Kinetic and sorption equilibrium of ammonium ions on natural and activated by 2,33 M H2SO4
solution alumosilicate, containing two main structural components – montmorillonite and clinoptilolite
(M45K20), is investigated. The diffusion coefficients and adsorption equilibrium constant are calculated.
Increase of sorption capacity of alumosilicate after acid activation is detected.
