Abstract

Microphotographic technique was used to study the effects of swelling of spherical beads of nonionic
and ionic polymers in aqueous-alcoholic solutions. It is noted that in some cases, there are artifacts that
require additional experimental tests and new approaches to their theoretical interpretation.
