Abstract

The dynamic of aconitase activity from maize scutellum and rat liver was studied. Using gelchromatography
on DEAE-cellulose and DEAE- sepharose let to obtain cytoplasmic form of enzyme in
highly purified electrophoretically homogeneous condition with specific activity of 2,4 units/mg protein
(for plant object) and 2,06 units/mg protein (for animal object). Kinetic and physico-chemical properties
of aconitase were investigated.
