Аннотация
Рассматриваются правовые проблемы оленеводства в России; дается общая характеристика оленеводства, показано действующее законодательство в этой сфере, систематизированы инициативы по его совершенствованию, сформулировано понимание права на занятие оленеводством, прав и обязанностей оленеводов и некоторых других вопросов их статуса; обосновывается необходимость принятия федерального закона о северном оленеводстве.
