Abstract

The article examines the features of the legal procedure of attestation of pedagogical workers in various time periods. The features of the content of the procedure of attestation of pedagogical workers are studied. It is concluded that it is advisable to consolidate the concept of “attestation” in the provisions of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the need to develop and establish criteria for evaluating attestation for teaching staff. Suggestions are made to improve the legislation regulating the procedure of attestation of pedagogical workers.
