Abstract

It is analyzed modern problems of expulsion of a foreign citizen from the Russian Federation and considerated promising ways to improve this measure of state coercion. The provision on the need to improve public-law mechanisms for implementing the expulsion of a foreign citizen from the Russian Federation, as well as placing a person subject to expulsion in special institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, is put forward. The methodology of the study includes an analysis of existing law enforcement problems in the area under study, as well as a comparative legal method used to identify further trends in the development of legislation in the fi eld of implementing the expulsion of a foreign citizen from the Russian Federation.
