Features of functioning of ornitonyms in F. I. Tyutchev’s poetry

Abstract

The names of birds – ornithonyms – are a linguistic reflection of the national and cultural characteristics of thinking, as well as a part of the linguistic picture of the world. Ornithonyms occupy an important place in the culture of any country; Russia is no exception. The rich Russian culture, the bearer of which is poetic texts, is an example of the successful integration of nominative vocabulary into works of art. Ornithonyms were often used by Russian poets to build allegorical subjects and metaphorical images. However, there are few published results of scientific research on the functioning of ornithonyms in the poetry of individual authors. The article examines the role of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev. The novelty of the work lies in the substantiation of the structural and functional features of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutcheva. The aim of the study was to study the features of the functioning of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev. The research methods were content analysis, as well as component, contextual, linguistic statistical, descriptive, psycholinguistic and introspective analysis. The main results of the research include consideration of the place of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev, substantiation of the specifics of the functioning of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev, their role in the internal organization of the poetic text. Thus, it was determined that ornithonyms occupy an important place in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev. Ornitonims fill the poetic lyrics with figurative meanings and give it an emotional and evaluative coloring. Thanks to ornithonyms, the lyrics of F. I. Tyutchev is distinguished by the melodiousness of the rhythm, allegoricality and expressiveness. It has been substantiated that the specificity of the functioning of ornithonyms in the poetry of F. I. Tyutchev lies in their participation in the poet's construction of a complex "tectonics" of meanings and poetic text. The use of the name and F. I. Tyutchev nominations of birds are always advisable, which allows you to highlight the main functions of ornithonyms in a poetic text: transpositional-transcendental, emotional-evaluative and rhyme-forming.
