The article examines the ergonymic space of the Krasnodar Territory from the perspective of a cognitive approach, namely the representation of the concept of "space". cognitive analysis of ergonyms was implemented through the definition of the functions of ergonyms of the Krasnodar Territory. The interpretation of onyms was based on four main levels of dominance of the ergonym function from a pragmatic point of view. The first level is informative names without connotative coloring; the second level is informative names, but with a pragmatic orientation; the third level includes ergonyms with zero informativeness, performing only a pragmatic function; at the fourth level – semantically implicit, with a complete lack of informativeness, pragmatics and connotativeness. Ergonymic diversity is considered from the perspective of the microconceptospheres "world", "man", respectively, information is based on knowledge "from man" and "about man". The analyzed concept of "Space" is formed when analyzing information "from a person", namely the microconceptosphere "World". The analysis of the concept "space" revealed the following classification features: informative (direct) locativity (spatial characteristics of the object are characterized; the value of locativity is formed through a descriptive characteristic of the place of the object, represented by the use of lexemes with spatial features); connotative (indirect) locativity (ergonym has an indirect relation to spatial locativity, since it does not contain information about the location of the object); metonymic (informational-connotative) locativity (ergonyms have an indication of the activity or goods offered, but not the location of the object); eurocetricity (this feature characterizes ergonyms that have a "euro" component; the relation of such ergonyms to the concept of "Space" is motivated from the point of view of economic space). It is concluded that the cognitive study of the ergonymic space contributes not only to the formation of the cognitive basis of the linguistic personality in the process of its formation, but also to the search for ways to represent onomastic knowledge about the national and territorial features of the language. In addition, ergonymic diversity allows us to conceptualize the onymic space from the perspective of microconceptospheres: the world, man, which, being universal, help to reflect the basis of the national worldview and assessment of the world.
