Abstract

Тhis paper analyzes the features of intercultural communication between the business communities of Russia and China in the linguistic and cultural aspect on the example of active interaction in recent years in the fi eld of business negotiations. In this regard, the purpose of the work is to study the features of international business cooperation between Russia and China in the context of large corporate structures, with a focus on ethnonational barriers arising in international trade. The linguistic and cultural factors infl uencing effective and effi cient communication between partners and the ability to conduct successful interethnic negotiations are investigated, taking into account unique language systems, various cultural codes and distinctive normative features. Attention is focused on the importance of profi ciency in a foreign language at a professional level in forming successful business relationships and establishing business contacts. The infl uence of cultural differences and ethnonational peculiarities on negotiations and decision-making processes in various areas related to business communication is analyzed. Successful communication strategies, potential types of speech effects and their results, as well as problems arising during such interactions are identifi ed. It is proved that building effective business relationships requires taking into account all possible barriers and nuances in negotiations between partners in order to avoid misunderstanding or failure of negotiations. The work is determined by the novelty in the studyand analysis of the specifi c diffi culties of Russian-Chinese business communication related to the peculiarities of offi cial business discourse and communication style.
