New digital projects of thematic dictionaries of quotations, built according to diff erent principles (quotations on weather, environment, birds, etc.), are described. The paper pays special attention to the unique technical and multimedia features of dictionaries counterparts published during Shakespeare lexicography history, put in special websites (A Research & Reference Guide: Dictionaries/Encyclopedias). The article describes a new trend in Shakespeare lexicography – apps-dictionaries. Among them: a famous explanatory dictionary to the complete Shakespeare works by A.
