Abstract

The article describes the study of sensory perception in the A. V. Koltsov’s poerty, which seems important due to the absence of such works. The object of the study is language representation of sensory perception extracted from A. V. Koltsov's concordance. The quantitative analysis showed the predominance of the linguistic realization of visual and auditory perception. The classification of visual perception made it possible to identify the most frequent group of "light characteristics", where the words night, dark, darkness have the maximum frequency, which served as the basis for attributing the A. V. Koltsov’s works to "night poetry". The metaphor of visual perception is bright and diverse (dark sadness, love shines, lively gaze) and helps to see the emotional state of the hero. Sound designations are used to describe sounds made or pronounced by a man or bird singing. Tactile perception is represented by temperature sensations, which are highly metaphoric and allows you to convey the feelings (the heat of love, the flame of prayer, cold love) and fully characterizes the poet's love lyrics. Taste perception is also metaphoric and complements the emotive vocabulary of A. V. Koltsov (sweet hope, bitter sadness, sweet tears). The results of the research can be used to complete the "Dictionary of Poetry of A. V. Koltsov".
